How does it work

Activator

Activator is a type of removable braces, which are mainly used to treat a large overbite and deep bite, sometimes protruding front teeth in the upper jaw. It is used at night and few hours in the day. The treatment often takes a long time, expect a couple of years.

How does it work
Activator is made of plastic and is in contact with both the palate and teeth of the upper and lower jaw. Typically, it is equipped with a wire loop that is above the front teeth in the upper jaw. The teeth may be sore something the first few days after starting treatment or when tension springs. It is normal and usually wear off after some time.
